About Us

Edson Deep Foundations grew out of a family-launched, owned, and operated construction company founded in 1969 by Eduardo Rodriguez, Sr. Our commitment to consistent, high-quality work carries through from our construction and custom shell contracting roots. Today, we deliver deep foundation services across Florida with our own in-house teams. Building deep foundations demands far more than just drilling holes in the ground. From rapid proposal response through crew assignments to final job delivery, Edson team members work together to ensure your complete satisfaction with every aspect of the process.

Company History

Eduardo Rodriguez Sr. launched E & F Builders Corp. in 1969, building custom homes in Florida as a full-service general contractor. However, finding organized, qualified shell contractors became one of the company’s biggest challenges, so Eduardo Sr. took matters into his own hands and self-performed on his own concrete structures. This decision resulted in the company growing and building a reputation for dedication, quality, and pride in the finished project.

In 1986, Eduardo Rodriguez Jr. joined his father at E & F Builders and began transitioning the company to specializing in full-service shell contracting. Since then, E & F Builders has successfully completed more than 300 structural projects, with contracts ranging from $250,000 to $7 million. These luxury residences, commercial buildings, and government projects in South Florida share the same excellence in shell construction—reliably serving families, citizens, and millions of business customers.

In 2023, E&F Builders launched its subsidiary, Edson Deep Foundations. By specializing in deep foundations, Eduardo’s sons take the same approach to ensure consistent, premium-quality solutions for customers in Florida’s challenging geology.
